Full Mix Monday – Felguk
Follow @electroklctnThe dynamic electro house duo Felguk released a mix named “Jack This Mixtape” featuring some great electro house, a little moombah style, and a little bit of dubstep. As of now, I can’t turn it off. It features tracks from Wolfgang Gartner’s new album, Porter Robinson’s new EP, and Example’s new album providing a mix of some great stuff being pushed out right now. The last song in the mix, Plastic Smile by Example & Felguk, it probably my favorite track in the entire thing, so if you haven’t heard that gem make sure to make it to the end! It’s just under an hour long so turn it on, get something done, and try not to dance too much… Enjoy!
Full Mix Monday – Kaskade
Follow @electroklctnSo on Friday Kaskade graced the Radio 1 airwaves and man oh man, did he kill a set. Personally, I am obsessed with Kaskade’s style of music, big room house just has this undeniable soul that fills you up like nothing else. Listening to this mix made throw my hands up, close my eyes, and start dancing from time to time. Nostalgic would be a great to describe the feeling taking me back to incredible times in crowds of EDM fans screaming the words of everyone’s favorites just loving the music. Kaskade is one of those artists who melt crowds and this mix will explain why. Enjoy.
Update: I changed the track to the 320kbs version that Kaskade posted which also takes out the radio one edits!

Electric Zoo Live Sets
Follow @electroklctnWhile Labor Day weekend is amazing in itself for obvious reasons, no school and no work (for some) provide us with some much needed relaxation, but Labor Day weekend also gives us something even better than that, Electric Zoo in New York! For those who went, it’s one of those festivals that will top your list for the entire year, the line up is always jaw dropping and this year was no different. For those who didn’t go to the festival we get to listen to the sets and live vicariously through the screaming crowd that seeps in the mixes coming live from the event. Today we feature a plethora of sets from different top DJs recorded off of Electric Area’s live broadcast of the event. There’s a lot so if you want to Kollect one or two, I can understand, but for me this is a time to load up and I encourage you Kollectors to do the same! Enjoy.
ps. Benassi’s set absolutely kills.

The “I Just Wanna Dance” Playlist
Follow @electroklctnSo in honor of all of your support, specifically reaching 1000 Facebook fans, I have created a bit of a party playlist for you Kollectors! It’s a combination of all sorts of House, Electro House, Trance, Moombahton, Drum and Bass, and Dubstep that I choose on one criteria, danceability. While I realize some of the tracks have less danceability than others, it’s still a solid compilation. The batch downloads are below if you wanna grab them all at once! Enjoy.

Party Rockin’ Moombahton (Mix) – Aaron Azua
Follow @electroklctnAlthough I don’t know much about Aaron Azua, I do know that he put together almost half an hour of Moombahton, with some throwbacks and newer jams meshed together to get you moving. Some criticize Moombahton for being a “talentless genre”, seeing as though its only requirement is to slow a track down to 108 bmp. I personally don’t care about the origin as a listener…for only being in existence since 2009, Moomba is making moves. Picture the slowed beat in a slow-motion dance video – sounds pretty sick to me. Grab this flavorful mix and get your Moomba on!
Fave track in there is “Esta Noche” by Munchi! See if you can spot it.
Pictured: The supposed “father of Moombahton”, Dave Nada.

Full Mix Monday – Darth & Vader
Follow @electroklctnSome mixes get stuck on repeat for me sometimes, ie. Avicii’s Essential Mix, and this one is definitely falls right into that category. Starting out in dramatic fashion the mix begins with Imperial March and goes straight into an electro house countdown. The whole thing follows that tone coupled with a few electro anthems to create a really fantastic mix. So strap in and enjoy the next hour of sounds brought to you by Darth & Vader.

Full Mix Monday – Tiesto
Follow @electroklctnThis weeks full mix features Tiesto’s 219th episode of his radio show, Club Life. Tiesto, Armin, Above and Beyond, Pete Tong, and many others have paved the path for EDM superstars to have these types of radio shows. Some of those recently following that path include two of the biggest names in the current scene, Avicii and Skrillex, both acquiring time slots on Sirius XM. Avicii’s show is called Le7els and Skrillex’s show is named Mothership both featuring the current anthems of their genres. While these shows are available for download, sometimes the original is the best, and for now, this stays true. Enjoy the next two hours of musical bliss that is Tiesto.
PS. GO MAVS!!!!!

Follow @electroklctnThis week we are featuring a combined DJ set from Louis Coussée and Romain G. This mix is part of a new series from Romain G called House In Your House and he will be posting all of the mixes up on his soundcloud. The set goes through many sub genres of house music creating a very nice blend of sounds. They switch halfway through so whenever you hear Axwell’s Heart is King that is when Louis Coussée is taking the decks!
